SoraFiles Desktop works offline after setup. Here’s what that means in practice.
What works offline
File processing happens on your computer. Everyday file work doesn’t need an internet connection, and your files aren’t uploaded to be processed.
What needs a connection
Setup, activation and online services need an internet connection, for example downloading SoraFiles, activating a license key or buying a plan.
Your license while offline
- A valid license doesn’t stop working just because your computer is offline.
- Monthly and Annual licenses stay valid until the end of the period you paid for, online or offline.
- Lifetime licenses have no time-based expiry.
When the trial ends, processing needs a valid license. Your settings stay available.
