SoraFiles Desktop starts from the place your files already are. Instead of opening an app and looking for a file, you begin with the file itself.
From selection to saved file
- Select one or more files in your file manager.
- Right-click and choose Edit with SoraFiles.
- SoraFiles shows only the actions that fit your selection.
- Choose an action.
- The files are processed on your computer.
- The result is saved as a new file.
Quick actions and the Desktop window
Some actions run straight from the menu. More complex or interactive operations open the SoraFiles Desktop window with your selected files already loaded, so you can finish the job there.
Several files at once
Batch-compatible actions work on every file you selected. In the example on the Desktop overview, Compress PDF runs on two PDFs at once and both smaller copies are saved beside the originals.
Where results go
Each result is a new file. It lands next to the source file, or in another folder you choose, so the original stays where it was.
What stays on your computer
Supported Desktop workflows process files on your computer, and files aren’t uploaded to be processed. Payment and licensing are handled separately from your files.
